The Diesel Vintage Series cigar follows in the footsteps of its predecessors for being a bold smoke that pushes the boundaries of what a cigar can be. It is a collaboration between Justin Andrews of Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) and acclaimed cigar crafter AJ Fernandez. AJ has been developing blends for the Diesel brand since its inception in 2009. The cigar uses aged filler leaves from Jalapa, Nicaragua and a Habano binder from Esteli, Nicaragua capped off with a savory Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper. The tobacco for the binder and filler were grown on farms owned by Fernandez. The cigar was crafted with the intent to give aficionados a full experience of what vintage tobacco is all about.
